The team at Fox Pools in Burlington will design your custom pool to transform your backyard into the perfect staycation paradise!
The pool is excavated removing all fill and is then 'staked out' for the fusion bonded Fox panel layout. Pool stairs/features are placed and wall paneling is fashioned together, centered around Fox Pool’s X-Brace support system.
The pool walls are leveled and the pool plumbing, individual lines for dual main drain, water return lines and skimmer lines are installed. Interior measurements are established and the pool is prepped for the first stage of concrete.
Concrete footings are poured at the base of the exterior pool wall and X-Braces; fully encasing the pool plumbing. A structural foundation is poured on the interior of the pool, acting as the first of a two-stage pool floor, engineered to be a free standing structure with or without water.
Pool coping (regular or cantilever) along with the bonding wire and exterior features (e.g. deck jets and laminars) are installed/completed in preparation for backfill.
The pool is backfilled with stone and the work begins on forming the concrete pool apron. Rebar is placed to work in conjunction with our X-Brace technology to create a superior support system for the concrete.
Hand troweled grout floor is poured to provide a smooth, durable foundation for the pool liner. All measurements have been established and checked to ensure that the liner will fit properly.
Liner installation entails a thorough cleaning of the hand troweled bottom ensuring any slight imperfections and all foreign materials are removed, and all seams are sealed. The liner is laid out in the pool; vacuums are strategically placed to draw the air out from behind the liner as the pool fills with water.
